Manufactured in Baoding, China, the X200 was powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine that was initially available with a six-speed manual transmission. Like the petrol-engined Great Wall H5 X240 , the H5 X200 was 4649 mm long, 1810 mm wide, 1735 mm tall and had a 2700 mm long wheelbase. Sold in other markets as the Haval H5, the X200 had independent double wishbone front suspension with hydraulic shock absorbers and a torsion bar.
