2024-25 BMW G45 X3: outer rear head restraints may move or detach

In July 2025, recall campaign 0052250200 was issued for 2024-25 BMW G45 X3 vehicles. Due to a manufacturing defect, the outer rear head restraints of the rear row seats may not have been manufactured correctly. In the event of a collision, these head restraints may move or detach from the seat, thereby increasing the risk of injury to vehicle occupants.
