2023-25 Ford F-150: rear wheel hub bolts may become loose or break
In August 2025, recall campaign 25S82 was issued for 2023-25 Ford F-150 vehicles. Due to a manufacturing defect, the rear wheel hub bolts may become loose or break, causing damage to the wheel axle and axle hub splines over time. This could result in the vehicle moving whilst in “park” or a loss of drive, thereby increasing the risk of injury to vehicle occupants, bystanders and other road users. However, a broken wheel hub bolt would not result in wheel separation. For the VINs of the recalled vehicles, please see REC-006408.
