2024-25 Ford VA Tourneo: passenger airbag inflator may rupture

In August 2024, recall campaign 25S51 was issued for 2024-25 Ford VA Tourneo vehicles. Due to a manufacturing defect, the passenger airbag inflator may rupture in the event of airbag deployment. If this occurred, compressed gas and metal fragments may be propelled through the airbag cushion towards vehicle occupants, or there may be damage to the airbag cushion, or there may be a complete loss of airbag functionality.
